My latest discovery: Burt's Bees

I just bought these three lip balms and they are amazing. I love the smell and I love the fact that the ingredients are %100 natural so it's actually healthy to put on your lips. Also, the prices are reasonable!

In the photos above I am wearing the Red Dahlia tinted lip balm! I would definitely recommend it; it has such a lovely color to it. The other 2 lip balms are not tinted so they go on clear and they are a bit cheaper than the tinted kind.

These crackers are organic, vegan, & gluten-free. I bought both, but I have yet to try the multi-seed one. I tried the sesame seed one and it was quite tasty. I even spread a little bit of vegan/organic butter on it to try it out and I was not disappointed. Oh & don't worry; I'll make another post showcasing the butter, as soon as I can.

Stress Relievers

A lot of people told me that one of their new year's resolution is to not stress out as much and so I wanted to help out by showing you guys some things that I do to help relieve stress.

When I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed sometimes I...

...make a to-do list. [Crossing out items on my list as I get them done makes me feel like a weight is being lifted off of my shoulders. & it's a good way to make sure I get everything done. Once the whole list is crossed off I feel accomplished.]
...clean out/organize/rearrange my room. [Clutter can cause stress. If you have a messy room it causes you to be stressed. Also, when I clean or rearrange my room, it helps me relieve stress because I put aside time to do it; I put on some peaceful music & I take my time while cleaning. Rushing around and cleaning would just cause more stress.]
...lay down on my floor, listening to peaceful music. [It's just a simple thing that I can do when I'm tired and stressed out that just gives me some time to take a break and relax for a bit.]
...do yoga or exercise. [Yoga/Exercising relieves stress for me & it puts me in a peaceful state of mind. I can't explain it, but whenever I do yoga it completely boosts my mood. I feel so energetic and carefree while I'm doing yoga and once I'm done I feel even better! Maybe it's because I listen to some music while exercising and I'm in a peaceful state of mind.]
...turn up some music that puts me in a good mood and just dance. [This instantly changes my mood. It makes me happy. & when I'm happy I don't feel stressed out because I feel like I can take on the world.]

Organic Chocolate Truffles

I recently discovered these organic chocolate truffles from Whole Foods and they are absolutely delicious. They have a little bit of bitter powder on the outside, like most truffles do have. & once the powder melts in your mouth so does the chocolate, just not as quickly. It's really sweet and smooth; it's the perfect amount of sweetness. The best part is that of course, it's organic and vegan. The sugars and salts in it are all natural! The only thing that's not too good is that it does contain soy lecithin in it, which can be bad for your health if you consume too much. These truffles are perfect for me right now because during the holidays, I tend to crave chocolate more than usual.

These would be perfect for a little holiday party too! You could just get out a little christmas plate and spread these around it. The best part is that you won't feel too guilty when you eat these because it's healthier for you.

I love my webcam because the lighting always comes out different. Today it's extremely sunny so the lighting came out really faded. Today's Thanksgiving & it's sunny!

Sometimes we may act distant and we try to act like we don't care. We put up walls because we're afraid of taking a risk and & putting ourselves out there. Deep down we all just want that feeling of being in love and being loved.

I picked this mix because it's about being helplessly in love, how sometimes we're afraid to admit it or afraid of getting hurt, & how sometimes we need to forget about the past and the pain & just put it all out on the line. Sometimes we may be saying, "I kind of like you" or "I think I'm a little bit in love with you, but only if you're a little bit in love with me." When in all honesty, we really mean, "I'm so black and blue for you." (I fell for you & I love you.)

The dark color scheme of this outfit & the cutout tights represent the part of us that tries to hide our feelings under this wall we put up. The lace tights & big, lace, comfy sweater represent the softer, loving side of us. & in a way, the big, bold platforms represent how sometimes we need to take risks and put our true feelings on display to ever truly be happy.

Doughnuts used as birthday cakes, never-ending trails, jogging & exploring, long walks to anywhere within a mile radius, Jamba Juice every other day, picking carrots in a garden, lounge areas where "anyone & everyone can watch you", getting lost in the apartment and finding places that look like they belong in a horror film, staying up until 2 in the morning, reading books whenever I please, late night adventures, family & new additions, donating clothes to be able to fit everything I bought into my suitcase, and the list goes on. Memories were made in WA that I will never forget; I can't wait to go back.

Can you believe I actually thought about getting rid of this dress while I was on my trip because I bought too many items of clothing at the thrift store in Washington and I thought I wasn't going to be able to fit everything into my luggage? I did have to get rid of a few things, but nothing that I still wanted, thankfully. By the way, I'll post photos from my trip as soon as I can. I've just been too busy & tired ever since I got back. I still haven't even unpacked. I guess I'm just living out of a suitcase for now.

I really don't feel like unpacking yet. I have a huge list of things to get done, now that I'm home. It's almost overwhelming! I wasn't homesick when I was gone, but I sure am happy to be home.

I am in love with this song. I can definitely relate to it & I would love to learn how to play it on the piano, which I plan to in the near future. I've been listening to love songs lately (more than usual) & I just can't seem to stop. I don't think this can be too healthy, at least not for me.

Anyways, I'm going on a little vacation for about a week or so & I'm taking a break from the internet so I won't be able to post anything for quite some time. So if you notice my absence, that's why. Here's a few random photos, as a result of having (maybe too much) free time this summer.

What I love about summer: Forgetting what day it is, long nights, homemade banana soft-serve, the beach, dresses, shorts, the lake, reading books that I actually want to read, new music, crop tops, smoothies, summer shows, walking around the neighborhood without a care in the world, the time for piano, the time for yoga, the time for doing whatever I please, meeting new people, staying up late for the sake of it & not because I have a big exam the next day, the sun (of course), & most importantly, the time for things that matter most to me.

Here's a couple of photos from a week or two ago. I'd just woken up so I'm not wearing any makeup & I had yet to fix my hair. So this is me, the real me and nothing else.

Today was a longgg day, very exhausting, but also a lot of fun. Now I just want to lay back, eat some gummy worms, & watch a cute, little movie. =)
